This is a Port of miscellaneous GNU tools to the iPod. The ports are from the following versions:

  • Grep: grep-2.0
  • Gawk: gawk-3.0.2
  • Sed: sed-2.05
  • Gzip: gzip-1.2.4

Current Status

Currently, sed, grep, and gawk all work with the iPod.

You'll have to use a shell script to use these.

  • Grep: Ipodgrep.tar
  • Gawk: Ipodgawk.tar.gz
  • Sed: Ipodsed.tar
  • Gzip: Ipodgzip.tar
