About podzilla 2 schemes
podzilla 2 schemes are files that allow you to change the appearance of the GUI (graphical user interface). Scheme files have extension .cs, which stands for "color scheme".
Scheme files let you control the appearance of certain predefined elements of the user interface. For each one, you can specify:
- a solid color
- a gradient between two or three colors, optionally with a bar of solid color on top of it
- a file from which to load an image, optionally specifying which part of it to tile
Installing schemes
To install a scheme, place the .cs file (and any graphics it requires) in the /usr/share/schemes/ directory on your iPod. If you have a Windows computer, please check this article on how to access the linux partition from windows.
Alternatively if you have PZ2 already installed, drop the files (.cs file and any addons) in a folder with the name scheme. Drop that in the root of your iPod along with a Start File with the code:
mv /hp/scheme/* /usr/share/schemes rm /hp/scheme rm /hp/start
In podzilla2, go to Settings > Appearance > Color Schemes > name of scheme to activate it.
Some themes may have different graphics available for different iPod versions. If this is the case then please use the one which is applicable to your iPod.
Note: If you want the titlebar of your scheme to show up it's nessecary to set the decoration to CS Gradient: Settings > Appearance > Decorations > CS Gradient (This is the standard decoration of pz2)
