Description
The metronome is made up of two main modes, metronome mode and tap mode:
Metronome Mode
This is a normal metronome, containing three submodes:
- normal mode - Displays the tempo in beats per minute and allows changing of the tempo.
- volume mode - Displays a volume bar at the bottom of the screen and allows changing of the volume.
- scale mode - Disays the scale currently used. The scale can be changed to quarter notes (the default), eighth notes, sixteenth notes, and triplets. When using the piezo for sound, only the quarter notes will be played, no matter what the scale is set to.
Tap Mode
Tap mode lets you create a tempo by tapping on the center button. The last ten taps are averaged to help in getting a consistent tempo. Tap Mode is a feature to help find the tempo of a currently playing song by matching its beats.
