ViP

- The title of this article should be viP. The initial letter is capitalized due to technical limitations.
viP - a text editor for the iPod
Usage: call "viP [filename [-h]]" from the sash prompt or select "open with viP" from within podzilla (if the version you're using supports this).
If no filename is given then "/tmp/delme" is used until the filename is changed with the command "w filename". The -h flag displays the file in hex (apparently this is useful!). See the README for more details on how to use it.
Things still to be done include faster redisplaying of lines, several more commands that are entered in a similar manner to vi. A discussion on viP can be found at http://www.ipodlinux.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=422
Most recent addition: the "w filename" command to change the file to be written to from within viP.
